Objectives:

By the end of this session, participants will:

  • Be able to utilise strengths and manage areas of weakness within a team
  • Understand Daniel Goldman's six styles of management and strategies for utilising and improving their own management style.
  • Understand the practice of a good manager.
  • Identify and use good processes in coaching, business planning, budgeting, finance, information management and being a role model to staff.
  • Understand the issues around ethics, diversity and motivation in the workplace.
